I recommend Dr. Jeffrey Singer to anyone who wants or needs LASIK. They provide the most informative, thorough and caring services to each and everyone of their patients. The hardest thing I had to do was make the "phone call" to his office. The idea of LASIK surgery had always terrified me, but I was determined I wasn't going to continue using magnifying glasses and mirrors to put on my make up everyday. I made the call though and set up an appointment for myself and my friend Carol Leblanc. Dr. Singer saw us both and told us we were candidates. Then we were given a thorough eye exam and our LASIK surgery was set up for the following week. I was thrilled, but very anxious. I went home and told my family and 2nd grade class. My family was excited for me. My second graders were full of questions, which prompted a Science lesson on LASIK. The first question they asked was "Are you scared?" I told them yes but I would be brave, because after the surgery I'd be able to see their beautiful faces without my glasses. The day of the surgery finally came. I was very nervous and scared. My husband said everything was going to be fine. Dr. Singer and his staff were very caring and helpful, and they made me feel very comfortable. He talks to you during the whole procedure telling you what he is doing. It was over so fast that I didn't believe him when he said he was finished. I was delighted and felt wonderful. I could see immediately too. I went home and followed all the post op instructions. I am absolutely ecstatic with having LASIK done on my eyes. I think anyone considering LASIK should make an appointment with Dr. Singer to see if you are a candidate. If you are, "Go for it." It's fantastic to see clearly again without my glasses. B.

I just wanted to thank you for giving me back my eyesight. It has been over 40 years since I’ve seen this well. It is truly a miracle! I am home recuperating from another recent surgery and as I write this, I sit before a large window overlooking my backyard and I am reminded that I am seeing the beauty of nature without corrective lenses! I am continually amazed! Thank you all for doing such a great job in such a gracious manner. Keep lighting up lives! With
gratitude, Dear Dr. Singer, You
will never know how much you have changed my life in the past six
days, since my lasik surgery. Dawn Divilla
I just wanted to say that the decision to have LASIK was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I'm a police officer and wearing glasses in my profession is at best an inconvenience and at worst a grave safety problem. But, without Dr. Singer and his staff of professionals, I don't know if I would have made the decision. After all, laser eye surgery is something that you don't decide on lightly. A bad haircut will grow out, but eye surgery is permanent and life changing. Dr. Singer and his staff explained the procedure to me, answering my questions and allaying my fears before I could ask them. They sent me home with all of my questions answered and the instructions I would need for surgery day. They also encouraged me to call them anytime should I have any other questions or concerns. For my age (just shy of 50), I was told that after the surgery I would need reading glasses, but my distance vision would be corrected. Reading glasses would be a small inconvenience for someone who needed glasses from the time he awoke until the time he went back to sleep. Surgery day arrives. I've had a week to think the matter over. Being ever the pessimist, I keep thinking about all the things that can go wrong. Needless to say, I'm still a little apprehensive about this after all; it's a major procedure with long-lasting effects. Again, Dr. Singer and his staff put me at ease. I have the procedure and it's all over in no time at all. The next morning when I wake up, I reach for my glasses. Some habits die hard. But then I realize I don't need them anymore. Now it's time to go see Dr. Singer for my first follow-up visit. It was great not having to look at the world through bifocals. Now I'm at 20/20 in one eye and 20/15 in the other eye! Things that used to be a blur are now crystal clear. The exam might have been unremarkable, but the results were anything but! The changes have been more than I could have hoped for. After 30 years of wearing glasses and almost 10 years in bifocals, to literally wake up with better than 20/20 vision is astounding! I highly recommended Dr. Singer to anyone considering having LASIK surgery. Emile

About a year and half ago I became more serious about LASIK as I saw the average price come down. I also learned that I could save even more money if I took advantage of the Flexible Spending Account offered by employer. Using a FSA you can set money aside, which is deducted before taxes. Depending on your tax bracket, you can save up to 40 % of the cost. As I was researching different doctors I heard Dr. Singer's advertisement for $699 per eye. I compared it with other offers on the market and I found it was the best deal in town. I could not believe that there were no hidden costs or additional fees. When considering an operation of this type you have to consider the surgeon. I found Dr. Jeffrey Singer well qualified. I checked references from patients who had the operation. All the people I contacted were happy with the results. My direct experience with Dr. Singer and his staff has been very satisfying. I find his operation run in a very friendly and professional manner. It has been a year since I had my LASIK operation. I have been back for several follow check ups. Every time I leave the office I know I made the right decision. LASIK was definitely for me and Dr. Singer was the right surgeon. Raul Navarro HOME | ABOUT OUR PRACTICE | ABOUT DR.
